The happiest day of my life! :'-D

Ok, so I decided to write this in English because, well... I want everyone to understand it! After all, it's the happiest day I've ever experienced so far we are talking about, here! x) So, the day (or actually night) we are talking about was the night between the 6th/7th august 2011. I was at my first anime/manga etc. convent in Linköping, Sweden. The convent was called N
ärcon and this was the 10th time this convent was held. I didn't know anybody there before I went, but on my way to the convent I met two wonderful girls from Lillestrøm, Norway who were going to the same convent, so as usual, not knowing anyone when you go somewhere just leads to new friendships! :-)

But I was going to talk about the 6th/7th august... The only reason why I didn't write about it earlier, was because I didn't receive all the pictures from that night before today. The thing that was so special about this night was the fact that I would finally get the chance to go to the first concert with my favorite band Seremedy! This concert was in fact the the reason why I wanted to go to Närcon in the first place, and probably the only reason why I decided to go even though nobody I knew was coming with me :-P The concert was supposed to start at 10 pm, but earlier the same day the staff set up a note saying that the concert was postponed to midnight. Actually I was just happy about it because, the later it would start, the later it would come to an end, right?

Me (and a balloon) being really excited outside the concert hall

I got into the queue pretty early because (obviously) I wanted to get a good spot in front of the stage. So we waited... And the clock passed midnight... And we waited... And the clock passed half past midnight... And we waited... And the doors opened and we go to see a glimpse of all the band members! (Resulting in me jumping around like a hyperactive little kid, haha xP) And  then suddenly a man came out and started to hand out some super cool, handmade, white bands that some of the band members had made, and I was lucky enough to get one :-D Time passed, and when the clock struck 01 am the doors FINALLY opened for real!

Everybody ran into the concert hall, and I got an amazing spot: Second row, closest to the mid-stage (meaning that every time any of the band members would come down to the mid-stage, I would be standing only a few inches away from them!) Then one of the Närcon hosts welcomed us and told us NOT to take photos using flash or make any video clips during the show (buhuu :-/). But I didn't get much time to feel sorry about that, because THEN THEY CAME!! One by one they entered the stage, found their places, picked up their instruments to the overwhelming sound of screaming fans, and the concert had begun! It really was a surrealistic feeling to suddenly be standing so close to these guys that I had only been seeing on the internet. They were so real and detailed and... FULL SIZED, haha! x)

MADNESS!!!
The concert was just amazing! I had never heard/seen them playing live before, but they were really an amazing live band! We used the white bands they had made to make some cool movements to the music that Seike (the singer) showed us :-) It was really fun to be standing so close to the stage, and I got to touch Seike, Yohio and his guitar, haha
:-P Towards the end of the show something incredible happened: Seike took his band and dropped it right into my hands, just like that! I was SO happy, and I sure thought this was the biggest thing that was going to happen that night... I had no idea! x)

Seike and the awesome white band soon to be mine! FL: Seike (singer), Jeenziih (bass), Ray (guitar).
Behind: Linder (drums)
"White Rose Princess" Yohio with his beautiful dress and guitar
So every concert has to come to and end, and after an incredible finishing number (my absolute favorite song  "Bulletproof Roulette" <3) It was time for the band to leave the stage... Even though it was sad, and I would have been more than happy to stand there listening to their music all night, I was also kind of excited about going to the signing session after the show! And after all: This should prove to only be the beginning of my lucky day (night)!

Unlike the other queue, this time I wanted to be far behind in the queue :-P First I was just waiting, but after a while my new friends told me that if I didn't get into that queue soon, they would leave without me! Hahaha, poor them... :-P It was getting kind of late after all, so I decided to do as I was told.

After a while I got to the table where the manager was standing, selling Seremedy stuff. I got a T-shirt, CD and a poster before I went to the table where the band members were sitting.

Me being super happy, yet a bit terrified about being so close to meet my
biggest idols in the whole wide world
When I got to the table where the band members were sitting, the coolest thing happend: Jenziih, the bass player, looked up to me and said: "Hello, it's so cool that you came and watched our show!" Seriousely, this couldn't be happening!? He had totally recognized me from the internet! :'-D

Jenziih looking up at me, ready to sign my poster x)
*Signing signing*

I was really happy and I think I've never smiled so much ever before! :-D Everyone of them signed my stuff, and after they were finished, I handed over the gift and the letter that I'd made for them^^

"I have a gift for you!" *Seremedy happy faces* :-D
Ok, THEN the totally coolest thing happened! Seike took up a black rose like the ones he often uses in his stage outfits (the one that you can see behind the water bottle) and said: "This one is for you!" Aaaw, I was just shocked! My idol gave ME a gift! And then he asked me if he could TAKE A PICTURE OF ME!! Wow, this day (night) was amazing!

Seike taking a picture of ME!!!
I was starting to be pretty sure that I was just in the middle of an amazing, unrealistic dream and I was begging that no one would ever wake me up! This was just to incredible to be real... I hardly could imagine that this could get any better, but then it happened! Seike turned to the others and said something I didn't catch and then I heard it: The one word that can make you react and wake you up even though you are in the middle of your deepest sleep, I heard MY NAME! I'm sure my heart skipped a beat when Seike turned to me and said: "Ingvild, thank you for coming!" (He remebered my name! My idols remebered MY NAME!!! :'-D) And then the absolutely most incredibly amazingly super coolest totally unrealistic fantastic thing I've ever experienced in my whole life happened: Seike, Yohio, Linder, Ray and Jenziih stood up from their chairs, came out from behind the table and HUGGED ME<333 :'-D I was so happy I could have died any moment! Right then I'm totally sure that I was the happiest girl in the whole, wide world! It's the best thing that has ever happened to me, and I still can't believe that it's actually true!

*Seike-hug* Now I'm dying!

*Yohio-hug* OK, now I MUST be dead, cuz I'm totally
standing there hugging an angel! <3

*Linder-hug* :'-D

*Ray-hug* This is too much :'-D

*Jenziih-hug* Yes, I can see that your shirt tells me
to believe it, but... Sorry, I don't think I can! :'-}

So there I am, in the middle of my first fantasy convent, realizing that real life can be more incredible than any fantasy or movie or dream could ever get close to! Ironic, huh? :-P

The happiest girl in the whole, wide world! :'-D (With matching bangs, hahaha  xP)

That night I had big problems falling asleep. Actually I didn't even try to fall asleep before five in the morning. I was just sitting there, writing the longest diary post EVER and smelling male perfume (xP) while having big problems not to scream out in happiness every fifth second :-P (I actually DID on the way from the concert hall to the sleeping hall, though... Hahahaha x)) When I woke up at seven in the morning (yes, by some crazy reason I was well rested then :-P) I was sure everything had just been a dream, because I often dream very detailed dreams x) BUT, my stuff was still there! Everything I'd bought/got at at the concert: It was still there!!! I almost couldn't believe my own eyes, it was just too amazing! Now, almost a week later, it still feels like I have a thousand butterflies in my stomach, and it doesn't seem like they are planning to leave in a while^^

So, what have we learned from this? 1. Full-time job as a fan girl DOES actually get payed! :-D (Although not by some stupid money or anything :-P) 2. Dreams DO actually come true for those who wait! :-D (In an even better way than you could actually hope for!) 3. If a bad thing happens, it doesn't mean that something good could't happen in stead! :-D (If my exchange year hadn't been cancelled, this would never have happened...) 4. And: I HAVE TO GO TO A NEW SEREMEDY CONCERT AS SOON AS POSSIBLE, AND I WOULD RECOMMEND EVERYONE ELSE TO DO THE SAME!!! :-D

My "souvenirs" from the best day of life, and the proof to myself that it actually happened :'-)

STAY MAD <3
